Prevention of non-communicable diseases under the COVID-19 pandemic

Background: The growing prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCD), which cause the high mortality and disability, necessitates research to prevent them improves early diagnosis. Currently, relevance NCD prevention is particular importance because patients have an increased risk severe course COVID-19. Taking into account processes urbanization, study features epidemiology factors for development should be conducted separately urban rural populations. Objective: We aimed systematize in population Ukraine. Materials methods: used bibliosemantic method structural logical analysis. A contextual search was such databases as State Statistics Service Ukraine, World Health Data Platform, IHME Global Burden Disease, well available publications system PubMed, Cochrane Library. Results: Demographic trends Ukraine are characterized by a predominance over birth rate, since 1990, has decreased 19.2%. Non-communicable leading death Ukrainians that contribute common population. increase due both effect late diagnosis NCD. More than half aged 18 years overweight obese. In large cities past 5 there been sharp proportion obese people. Hypodynamia irrational nutrition also characteristic residents. Atmospheric pollution additional factor. Conclusions: aging, hypokinesia, nutrition, atmospheric pollution, hypodiagnosis All these threats combination with low socio-economic level form need more active implementation preventive measures.
